KTM has officially announced the launch timeline for its highly anticipated 390 Adventure S and 390 Enduro R in India. The models will debut on January 30, 2025, targeting adventure and off-road enthusiasts. Both motorcycles were previously showcased at India Bike Week (IBW) and are expected to generate significant demand.
Pricing and Competition
The 390 Adventure S and 390 Enduro R are expected to be priced between Rs 3.80 lakh and Rs 4.2 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). The models will compete against the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, the upcoming Hero Xpulse 410, and the BMW G 310 GS.
KTM 390 Adventure S: A Successor with Upgrades
The KTM 390 Adventure S is a direct successor to the popular 390 ADV, bringing several new features:
- 399cc liquid-cooled engine, producing 45 bhp and 40 Nm of torque
- 21-inch front and 17-inch rear wire-spoke wheels for better off-road capability
- Tall windscreen and semi-faired design for better wind protection
- TFT instrument cluster with ride modes and connectivity options
KTM 390 Enduro R: Hardcore Off-Road Performance
The 390 Enduro R is a dedicated off-roader, derived from the 390 Adventure S but with an even more rugged design:
- Same 399cc engine as the ADV S
- Optimized suspension and chassis for extreme off-road use
- Lighter frame for improved handling
- TFT cluster and other tech borrowed from the 390 Adventure S
- Positioned below the ADV S in KTM’s lineup
Bookings & Availability
Several KTM dealerships have started unofficial bookings for both models, with demand already surging. Deliveries are expected to commence soon after the launch.
